to Learn |

|
| Every
moment with an infant is precious and we take advantage
of that. We cuddle, rock, sing and bond with your
baby. Our specially designed infant care rooms are
places where babies feel safe, secure and happy. Personal
cribs, separate areas for |
|
changing and feeding, and a "no-covered-shoes" policy,
ensure clean playing, eating and sleeping spaces.
Through
simple games like
peek-a-boo, our
loving teachers
begin the foundational work
for later learning and help infants develop motor
skills. But we never forget that you are your child's
most important teacher, so we'll work with you, give
you daily reports and offer tips on how to reinforce
what your child learns during their time with us. |

| Channel
that Energy |
| |
Toddlers
are busy, busy little learners with lots of new things to
explore. We specialize in channelling all that energy into
things that help toddlers learn and grow. Teacher's at the
Woods Daycare lead young toddlers through age-appropriate
activities to improve coordination, increase verbal skills
and learn how to problem solve. Our curriculum is based
on the idea that children are naturally curious and motivated
to learn, so we provide them with the materials and experiences
they need to help them understand and communicate in ways
that are most meaningful to them. Fine Motor Skill Development
is the child's ability to use small muscles, specifically
their hands and fingers, to pick up small objects, hold
a spoon, turn pages in a book, or use a crayon to draw.
We find that one of the most anticipated parts of a child's
day is arts and crafts time. During this time, children
will partake in art activities such as making papier-mâché,
drawing pictures, or building small animals and objects.
